This is a proposed duplex style development (an attached dual occupancy on a normal block of land. The design must carefully consider all aspect of site constraints and its context, functional planning and sympathetic façade treatment. Energy saving and climate control concepts play an important role in maximising the quality design outcome.
Each of the house consist of large 4 bedrooms with multiple living areas both at Ground or on first floor. The challenge was to capture views from most habitable areas and a home that feels big and spacious. It has large extended living areas in the form of terraces and balconies, with tandem garages and additional car spaces. The interior design of the house encompasses movement in sun light, dynamic spaces, high ceiling, an excellent mix of colours. The house is bright as light penetrates through skylight, light well and perimeter windows. Internal finishes and appliances have been carefully selected to give the modern and expensive look that satisfies the client. We produced an excellent end result which was still within budget and fully satisfied our client.
